The New York Jets and Plaxico Burress have agreed in principle to a deal.
Burress who spent over a year and half in prison after shooting himself in the leg in a New York nightclub.
Burress who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants was a big part of the Giants win in Super Bowl 42 over the New England Patriots.
Burress was also being courted by the aforementioned Steelers and Giants as well as the Philadelphia Eagles. With his arrival it probably means the eventual departure of WR Braylon Edwards.

This man was so depressed after getting dumped by his girlfriend that he decided the only way to cure a broken heart was to jump off of a building.
Unfortunately for him police and fire deparment officials were quick to react and were able to rescue him.
Was breaking up with her really that bad that you had to try and take your life? Or he probably couldn't live without the golden vagina that people have been talking about. That is the only way to explain this.

Well this one guy in Milwaukee thought the only to get his girlfreind back who dumped him was to get his friends to shoot him.
He thought after getting shot his ex would definitely visit him in the hospita and want to get back together with him. But of course he was wrong. If you could pull something like this off there must be a great reason why she dumped you dude.

Golddigers and Frauds
We're big fans of Bradley Cooper here at the Black and Brown Blog. However we are not fans of all the golddiggers who seem to now think he is so dreamy now that he has more money and is more famous.
Can someone tell me what is the difference between Cooper now and when he was in Wedding Crashers with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn? Wedding Crashers is a great movie if any of you have not yet seen it. There is no difference because he still looks the same and still spoke french back then but now because he is a leading man and has fatter checks entering his bank account now he looks a lot sexier.
If we see a hot girl we won't break down how many languages she speaks, or what school she went to, or is she down for a threesome? Well actually the last one might be one of the first questions asked but you get the point.
So give us a break! If you're going to lie to us at least have the decency to come up with something better.

We have a friend like that and everytime he gets on the dance floor all the guys huddle up and pretty much set up a game plan of how not to embarass ourselves as this man gets his groove on.
We don't hate on his skills because we hope we "had all that he has" but sometimes you just start to wonder can someone really have it all?
At this point we try to get him to set up an unofficial dancing, dressing and ladies boot camp. He could make alot of money helping other guys out. Don't worry the second it gets going we'll drop all our devoted fans a line on how to sign up. All three fans we have and we love all of you.
You may say that we are exaggerating the powers of this one man but if you could just see the faces of these women after he has danced with them. It looks like they not only need a cigarette but need to be wipe down and Niagara Falls is nowhere in sight.

Asking People Out through Youtube
Since Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake were asked out on Youtube by those who serve in our Armed Forces there have been a plethora of others who have tried their hand in this arena.
Stars such as Betty White, Miley Cyrus and now recently Scarlett Johansson have been asked out.
Now the guy down the street with no social skills thinks he has a shot with the hot waitress who works at his local restaurant and the girl who has a pizza pie for a face thinks the newly single George Clooney will give her a shot.
There is nothing wrong with trying to ask a girl or guy out but no what was once a novel idea has now become everybody's choice way to get attention.But people let us all reasonable and not go overboard.

I don't usually take NJ Transit but in the past couple of months there have been some trips to New Jersey I have had to make. So usually I purchase a ticket from Penn Station in New York to head into Jersey and the tickets is $10 round trip. Supposedly a ticket agent is going to punch the ticket as passengers arrive on the train to make sure everyone has paid and no one is getting a free ride.
Well not only did I pay for tickets that don't get punched but there is no free ride involved because the tickets were already purchased.
I have nothing against Jersey but friends of mine have said some pretty crappy things about the state. To keep me from joining the club please NJ Transit get yourself together before Jersey takes the fall for it.

McNabb who was just traded from the Washington Redskins to the Vikings has worn the number five his whole career going back to his days t Syracuse University. So assuming the trend contiunues he will want to wear the number with the Vikings but that's were Kluwe comes in.

Adios Carlos!
When Carlos Beltran signed with the New York Mets back in 2005 fans thought they were getting the man who ran roughshod over pitchers during the 2005 playoffs after his trade from the Kansas City Royals to the Houston Astros.
I will be honest with you at times Beltran frustrated me as well. At times I thought he was stealing money everytime he cashed his check at the bank. But then I realized that Beltran a career .285 hitter before arriving to the Mets was just the player the Mets paid for. He was a gold glove centerfielder, very good at stealing bases, a switch hitter with decent power but not the 41 homerun season he had with the team his first year.
Beltran also had issues with staying on the field after a horrific collision with Mike Cameron in a game in San Diego back in 2005, and other injuries such as knee problems and a quad issue.
But the one reason Beltran probably will never truly live up to the contract he got with the Mets in most Mets' fans eyes is Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS. A game in which I thought the Mets had everything going in their favor after an Endy Chavez spectualr catch and a well pitched game by Oliver Perez.

Banana in the Pants
Here at the Black and Brown Blog we are not inmmune to stupid or even funny things happening to us. So with that opening statement bvlack man will give you an account of his time on the train today:
I've been trying to eat healthy recently so I thought let me carry a banana for later in the day as a snack. I arrive to the train station swipe my metrocard and decide to switch my banana from my left hand to my back pocket. I know what you're thinking but let me finish the story.
So as I get on the first train I stand for the ride becuase my commute is pretty short and I usually don't like to sit for such a trip. I get to my stop at which point I have to transfer for another train, and this is where it gets murky.
I see open seats but again I usually dont sit so its not a problem but for some reason the seats call my name and I sit. After a couple minutes of sitting I began to smell a banana and look around to see who is eating. Then I realize that's it my banana which just stinks up my area and now looks like some sort of smushed banana pudding.
Moral of the story, don't try to eat healthy becuase things like this will happen to you, oh and I still ate the banana.

He was going to be the next big man to take the mantle from Shaquille O'Neil but that soon was passed onto Dwight Howard.
Even with that said he had all-star appearnces whether you think he only got them becuase a billioon people were voting for him and he clearly was a good player that just could not stay on the court for a whole 82 game season.

One of the Greatest Catches Ever!
We know, we know, this is Australian Rules football or Rugby and most Americans don't know anything about it but still this catch has to get some recognition. He used the guy as a trampoline and still was able to hold on to the ball as he fell to the field face first.

Singer Amy Winehouse passed away over the weekend in her London home. Her parents say she seemed distant over the past couple of weeks but didn't think this was possible.
For those who don't know Winehouse had a popular album "Back to Black" in 2008 and won five Grammy's. She is credited with paving the way for Lady Gaga and British singer Adele.
Winehouse joins an infamous group called the 27 Club which features young musicians who passed away at the age of 27. The group includes Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and Jim Morrison of the Doors to name a few.
